| Tables are turned in Kangaroo Court,
when an L.A. police officer is captured by a violent street gang. The gang's
charismatic leader agrees to put Officer Arete (Michael O'Keefe) on trial for his life. A
makeshift courtroom is set up in an abandoned
warehouse. Determined to provide a fair trial, despite fellow gang
members demanding revenge, he brings in a high-powered attorney (Gregory Hines) to defend the officer. Passionate
performances provide a gripping and intense look at
street justice.
